Antonello Riva
Antonello Riva (born 28 February 1962 in Rovagnate) is an Italian retired basketball player. Nicknamed "Nembo Kid", he started playing basketball in 1977-78.
Riva played almost his entire career with Pallacanestro Cantù (1977–1989), with whom he won the European Champions Cup twice, in seasons 1982-1983. He also won an Italian championship in 1981. He also played for Philips/Recoaro Milano (1989–1994, won the Korać Cup in 1993), Scavolini Pesaro (1994–1996), Dinamica Gorizia (Serie A2, 1996–1998), Pallacanestro Cantù (1998–2002) and Sebastiani Rieti (Serie A2, 2004).
Riva founded a new basketball team in 2002. He won a career trophy for being the best Italian scorer of all time in 2004, with 14,397 points. He is a keen skier.
